British and Malayan Trustees names James William Cox as executive director and CEO

He has an extensive career with over 30 years' experience as an international lawyer advising families and businesses concerning structures, investment holdings and operations.

British and Malayan Trustees announced the appointment of James William Cox as executive director and cief executive officer.

Mr Cox, 61, will be responsible for overall management, operations and performance of the company.

Mr Cox assisted with the establishment and development of SPARX Group (a pioneering investment manager) from inception in 1989 until his retirement in 2007. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Cox also served as general counsel and in various executive capacities to that company.

Since 2008, he has focused upon advising families and their portfolio companies as the founder of Seneschal Group (related companies). Ancillary to that activity, he has served as senior advisor to the company for a period in 2012 and from October 2013 thru June 2014.
