Hersing Corporation names Poh Chee Yong as Chief Finance Officer

Poh replaces Mary Chua Geok Tiang in overseeing financial and accounting matters of the Group.

Hersing Corporation Ltd. announced the appointment of Poh Chee Yong as Chief Finance Officer Monday. The Board having reviewed and considered Mr Poh's qualifications and work experience, gave its approval on his appointment of the post. He will be responsible for the financial management, financial statements, budgetary and internal controls to safeguard the assets and the integrity of data and financial information of the Group.

Poh replaced Mary Chua Geok Tiang , who will leave the company 30 September after 11 years of serving as the Group’s CFO, according to a Hersing report.

Prior to his appointment, Poh worked for Raffles Education Corporation Ltd. from 2003 to 2011 as Financial Controller, Finance Manager and Group Accountant. Before that, he was a Audit Senior at KPMG.
