Silverlake Axis names Cass Goh as new CEO

Goh has been Silverlake Axis’ group deputy executive chairman since Oct 2023.

Singapore-mainlisted digital financial solutions provider Silverlake Axis has announced Cassandra Goh Shiou Ling as its new group chief executive officer (CEO) effective 1 July.

Goh has served as Silverlake Axis’ group deputy executive chairman since 27 October 2023.

Goh expressed hopes to build on the company’s growth under its previous CEO Andrew Tan.

Tan will continue to be part of the group and will “provide ongoing strategic guidance” until 31 December, according to a press release by Silverlake Axis.

“Silverlake Axis will continue to innovate our tech offerings to help our customers navigate the ever-changing tech scene,” Goh was quoted saying in the press release announcing her new appointment.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
