MTI, economic agencies undergo reshuffling

Affected agencies include the EDB and Enterprise Singapore.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and its economic agencies will undergo leadership change on 1 May.

Beh Swan Gin will relinquish his post as chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) to serve as permanent secretary (development) of the MTI.

In tandem, Gabriel Lim, permanent secretary of MTI, will be redesignated as permanent secretary (policy) of MTI.

Png Cheong Boon, the current CEO of Enterprise Singapore (ESG), will replace Beh as EDB chairman.
