DBS opens barbell income fund to retail investors
Investors can buy into the fund with a minimum of $1,000.
DBS has now opened its Amundi Asia Funds - CIO Barbell Income Fund to retail investors, allowing them to invest in income-generating investments and growth stocks.
Before its retail launch, the fund was only made available to accredited investors.
Interset parties can buy into the fund with a minimum of $1,000. They would also need to pay an initial sales charge of 0.82%, but will not be subjected to a lock-in investing period.
The bank said buying into the fund can enable retail investors to Benefit from greater diversification, Buy right with the buy-write strategy, and Engage directly with the bank’s wealth management experts.
" We strongly believe in enabling more retail investors to participate in the markets to grow their money, which will help prepare them to retire well even in the face of rising costs and inflation in the near term,” said Evy Wee, Head of Financial Planning, Investments and Insurance Solutions, DBS Bank.
