Online fashion retailers in Singapore are taking the green route as they incorporate sustainability in their product packaging.

Singapore-based Zalora has made a commitment to try to reduce its environmental footprint by ensuring that its packaging is at least 80% recycled. Aside from this, the company has also started an initiative toward circular fashion.

In line with this, Zalora Group’s CEO Gunjan Soni said there is a possibility that consumers will be allowed to sell back the products purchases at Zalora.

Ministers will be responding to claims that free trade agreements grant a “free hand” to foreign professionals to live and work in Singapore.

According to Health Minister Ong Ye Kung, two ministers will give their statements in Parliament next week to assert the FTA is vital to Singapore as well as how the agreements operate.

The statements will come from the Manpower Minister and Second Minister for Trade and Industry Tan See Leng and Ong. It will be open for debate.

The Ministry of Transport is committed to bring the Changi Airport into a “new phase of life,” following the disruption of the pandemic to the aviation industry.

Minister for Transport S Israwan made the statement in a Facebook post during the 40th anniversary of the Changi Airport.

He noted the airport was able to handle 4.3 million passengers in the first six months since it opened in 1981. It has also received awards such as Skytrax’s World’s Best Airport.
