9 in 10 C-Suite leaders expect a faster rate of change in business environment

Only a few of them are fully prepared to respond to changes in a business environment.

The majority (94%) of leaders in Singapore expect a faster rate of change in the business environment this year, data from Accenture's "Pulse of Change: 2024 Index" showed.

More than half of business leaders (57%) see these changes as an opportunity.

Despite the optimism,  only 48% of C-suite leaders in Singapore feel fully prepared to respond to these changes.

The annual index analyses six factors of change affecting businesses namely: technology, talent, economic, geopolitical, climate and consumer, and social through a range of key business indicators such as labour productivity and IT spending.

Amongst changes expected by C-suite leaders is the acceleration of the pace of technology disruption to accelerate in 2024 (88%).
