SPH Magazines appoints Joseph Lee as Managing Director of New Media

Mr. Lee’s appointment is effective from September 1.

SPH Magazines Pte Ltd is pleased to announce that Mr Joseph Lee will be its Managing Director of New Media with effect from 1 September 2011.

Joseph joined the SPH Group in 2005 as Vice President in the Corporate Development Division. He went on to helm 701Search Pte Ltd in 2007 and subsequently, SPH Interactive International Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPH.

In his new capacity as Managing Director of New Media, Joseph will spearhead SPH Magazines' digital growth.

Mr Loh Yew Seng, Chief Executive Officer of SPH Magazines, said: "As the Publisher of Choice, we have made significant investments in new media in recent years. Our online portals such as HerWorld.com, MensHealth.com and HardwareZone.com have extended our reach and helped us to serve our readers and advertisers better. With Joseph's strong grounding in new media both locally and regionally, there will be more exciting developments, including major revamps, regional expansion of our existing portals as well as new portals in the pipeline."
