SPH appoints new independent director

Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH) has appointed UBS AG’s vice chairman at Asia Pacific Global Wealth Management Tracey Woon as an independent board director with effect from 1 July, a press release confirmed. She will also be on the executive committee and the board risk committee.

oon has been the vice chairman at UBS AG since July 2016. She also led the UBS’ Women Initiative in Asia Pacific.
Prior to this, she was the vice chairman of Citibank ASEAN Corporate and Investment Banking. She is a director of the National University Health System, and sits on various committees for MOH Holdings, Securities Industry Council and Singapore Exchange.

She was vested the IBF Distinguished Fellow Award by The Institute of Banking & Finance in 2016, and is a council member with Red Cross Singapore, the press release added.
