Singapore Press Holdings names Anthony Tan Kang Uei as executive vice-president of Chinese Media Group

He is a high-level public servant who has worked in various government agencies in Singapore.

Singapore Press Holdings announced the appointment of Anthony Tan Kang Uei as executive vice-president of Chinese Media Group effective 1 February 2015.

Mr Tan, 41, will oversee SPH Chinese Media group ("CM"), and will also lead the editorial teams to grow Chinese Media Group's digital products, according to a Singapore Press Holdings report.

He is currently deputy secretary (Policy), Ministry of Health since April 2013. Before this, he was director (Security and Resilience Programmes), Ministry of Finance from November 2012 to March 2013 and director (Government Administration and Security Programmes), Ministry of Finance from October 2012 to November 2012.
