Singapore Press Holdings appoints Tan Yen Yen as Director

Mr Tan is also a member of Remuneration Committee.

The Board of Singapore Press Holdings announced the appointment of Tan Yen Yen as Director. The Board has considered the Nominating Committee's assessment of Ms Tan's qualifications, experience and independence, as well as its recommendations. The Board is satisfied that Ms Tan will be able to contribute much to the Company.

Mr Tan, 46, is also a remuneration Committee member, according to a Singapore Press Holdings report.

Mr Tan is Senior Vice President (Applications), Oracle Corporation Asia Pacific since July 2010. He was also Vice President & Managing Director, Hewlett Packard Singapore from 2006 to June 2010 and General Manager, Software Global Business Unit, Hewlett Packard, South East Asia/India from 1999 to 2005.
