Cityneon Holdings names Lew Weng Ho as Director

He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountant.

The Board of Cityneon Holdings announced the appointment of Lew Weng Ho as Director. Mr Lew was nominated by Star Publications (Malaysia) Berhad, a substantial shareholder of the Company. Upon the recommendation of the Nominating Committee, which had reviewed the qualification and experience of Mr Lew, the Board of Directors approved his appointment as non executive Director of the Company.

Mr Lew, 63, is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountant. Worked in the audit department of Coopers & Lybrand, Kuala Lumpur, after completed the article-ship in Dublin, Ireland. In 1981 took up the position of chief accountant in Antah Holdings Berhad and subsequently appointed to the Board of Antah as Finance Director in 1990, responsible for the group financial management and policy, and investment portfolio, also served on the board of many of its subsidiaries and associate companies, which are in financial services, trading and manufacturing, properties and oil and gas, until retirement. Also served as a director in the Federation of Public Listed Companies Berhad from 1997 to 2000, according to a Cityneon Holdings report.
