SPH Magazines scoops Magazine Publishers Association of Singapore Awards

Publications of SPH Magazines won 5 Gold awards, 8 Silver awards and 2 Bronze awards at the MPAS Magazine Awards 2010.

The total of 15 awards include 3 in the Watch Magazine of the Year category where The PEAK Selections: Timepieces, 24:7, and ICON Moments won the Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards.

Other Gold awards handed to SPH Magazines were for ICON as Chinese Language Magazine of the Year, Young Parents for Parenting Magazine of the Year, SilverKris for Best Contract Magazine of the Year, and Shape for Health/Fitness Magazine of the Year.

Meanwhile 50-year-old Her World, along with Female, won Silver in the new Fashion Magazine of the Year category.

The MPAS Magazine Awards were given out at the Pressmart MPAS Awards Nights 2010 held last 16 March 2010. A total of 146 entries from Consumer, Trade and Contract publications were judged by a panel of industry experts under 17 categories.
