mm2 Asia appoints Cindy Tan Ching Yee to board of directors

She has previously worked for TripAdvisor and BBC Worldwide.

Media company mm2 Asia has appointed Cindy Tan Ching Yee, managing director, APAC for Global Clients with Meta, to the group’s board of directors. She was also appointed to serve the audit committee, and as chairman of the remuneration committee.

Tan joins newly appointed directors Peter Lai Hock Meng, Dr. Tan Khee Giap, and Choo Kee Siong on the group’s Asia board of directors, alongside executive chairman Melvin Ang and non-executive director Jack Chia Seng Hee.

At Meta, Tan leads the Asia Pacific team, focusing on helping key clients "elevate their business successes through Meta’s portfolio of innovation solutions."

Previously, she held management positions at media and consumer travel firms, including INTO University Partnerships, TripAdvisor, and BBC Worldwide.

Tan holds a double Executive MBA degree from the University of California Los Angeles and National University of Singapore, along with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Monash University.
