‘The Big Spark’ to feature SEAs aspiring entrepreneurs and investors

Singapore-based Mediacorp collaborated with Elevandi and TiE Global Summit for the launch.

Mediacorp, in collaboration with Elevandi and TiE Global Summit, is launching "The Big Spark," a business reality show aiming to connect aspiring entrepreneurs with investors. 

The eight-part series will air across CNA platforms from February 2024 and feature 24 start-up teams pitching their business ideas for a chance at over $1m in seed funding. 

The show aims to support Southeast Asia's start-up culture, providing a platform to showcase and nurture promising enterprises. 

The initiative is part of Mediacorp's efforts to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs in the region.

Developed in collaboration with Jonathan Glazier, the renowned producer and director of Asia’s Got Talent, The Big Spark is set to bring together aspiring founders and entrepreneurs spanning various sectors—FinTech, ESG, educational technology, AI, SaaS, and health and wellness—from Southeast Asian countries.
