Avaya strengthens ASEAN team with 2 of the new executives based in Singapore

Gan Bock Herm and Andrew Hindmarch are appointed as Services Leader Avaya ASEAN, and Avaya Data Business Leader, ASEAN, respectively.

According to Avaya, they have appointed a new Country Manager to lead its business in Thailand, along with three new executives to head the Services, Data Business and Advanced Unified Communications pillars for the ASEAN region, with Gan and Hindmarch based in Singapore while Lim and Vongbuntoon will be based in Malaysia and Thailand respectively. These new additions come in light of Avaya’s strong growth in ASEAN.

Gan Bock Herm is appointed Services Leader Avaya ASEAN, and will be responsible for ensuring service excellence and developing enhanced channel-enabled service delivery models for ASEAN. Gan joins Avaya from Dell where he was the Director of Services and Solutions. Prior to Dell, Gan was with Avanade, a joint-venture between Microsoft and Accenture, where he was the country Business Development Director, and at Hewlett-Packard where he was the managing consultant for the Microsoft services business.

Andrew Hindmarch is named Avaya Data Business Leader, ASEAN. In this role he acts as the lead for data business development, supporting Avaya specialists and a network of partners to deploy highly reliable, differentiated data solutions. Hindmarch joins Avaya from Hewlett-Packard where he was the Regional Advanced Technology and Sales Enablement Manager APJ. Hindmarch has over 12 years experience in sales, product management, architecture design, and network consulting roles. He has experience working in a broad spectrum of network infrastructure technologies covering LAN, WAN, MAN networks, Security, IP Telephony, Network Management Systems, WAN optimization, Virtualization and Storage technologies.

Audrey Lim is promoted to the position of the Advanced Unified Communications Leader, Avaya ASEAN. This is a dual leadership role in ASEAN to drive the introduction of Unified Communications (UC) applications, including video, communications enabled business processes & virtual worlds for enterprises. This role will also encompass leading a team of solutions consultants for the ASEAN region. Lim’s previous role in Avaya was Solutions Manager UC and Emerging Technologies APAC. Within this role she was responsible for the introduction of new emerging technologies including Avaya ACE and Avaya web.alive solution. Lim came from Nortel to Avaya and has over18 years experience within the IT industry.

Bundhit Vonghuntoon is appointed Country Manager Thailand and is responsible for leading the Avaya sales business in Thailand. Based in Bangkok, Thailand, Bundhit takes on this position after working in Avaya as Services Country Manager for Thailand and Vietnam. Bundhit has more than 20 years experience working within the technology industry, and transitioned to Avaya during the Nortel acquisition in 2009. At Nortel, he most recently worked as Director Program Management – Global Accounts Asia.
