Singapore Exchange proposes appointment of 2 directors

The Board recommends the Shareholders' approval of the appointment of Kwa Chong Seng and Kevin Kwok at the SGX 13th Annual General Meeting.

The Board of Singapore Exchange announced the appointment of Mr Kwa Chong Seng and Mr Kevin Kwok as Directors. The Board recommends that the Shareholders approve the appointment of Mr Kwa and Mr Kwok at the SGX 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 20 September 2012.

Mr Kwa, 65 was Chairman & Managing Director of ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd from 1999 to 2011. Before this he was Asia Pacific Retail Sales Director of ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd from 2003 to 2011.

Mr Kwok, 56, was Senior Partner, Assurance Services, Ernst & Young LLP. Prior to this he was a Director of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance Pte Ltd from 1999 to 2011 and Director of Swan Trustees Limited from 2005 to 2008, according to a Singapore Exchange report.
