Blumont Group appoints Siaw Lu Howe as interim chief executive officer

He is currently serving as director of Sri Datai Construction.

Mr Siaw Lu Howe, 48, will be responsible for implementing the Group's strategic plans and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the group until a CEO is identified and appointed, or he is re-designate as CEO (as the case may be).

He has interests in hospitality, real estate and mining services businesses primarily located in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia, which are not in the areas which the group operates.

He is deemed interested in 22, 011, 537, 185 shares held by Ultimate Horizon Pte Ltd which intends to make a mandatory general offer for all the issued and paid-up ordinary shares the capital of the circular to shareholders of the Company in relation to the MGO to be despatched in due course.

Siaw is currently serving as director at Sri Datai Construction (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd since 1995 and at Modal Sempura Sdn Bhd since 2009 and isaw is currently working as advisor at Juara Cahya Sarawak Sdn Bhd since 2015.

He is currently working as group managing director at Sri Datai Group of Companies and at Sri Datai Mining Sdn Bhd.
