Specialist sustainability consultancy ERM expands SEA hub in Singapore

The is seen to generate 40 new roles.

Specialist sustainability consultancy ERM announced the expansion of its Southeast Asian hub in Singapore to take advantage of the untapped potential in the region.

In a statement, the company said it is supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board.

The expansion is expected to create up to 40 new roles, focusing on new energy, integrated environmental, social, and governance due diligence, monitoring, reporting & verification, and sustainable asset retirement.

ERM said the SEA hub will be the focal point for its regional projects, enhancing its delivery of services to clients across Asia. 

“The Singapore expansion plans will enable ERM to extend its extensive experience working with clients from across the Asia Pacific region, and globally, on their decarbonization journeys,” it added.

Some of its recent works related to this were assisting a large industrial cluster to develop plans to transition manufacturing to renewable power and green hydrogen, and helping a large power company to develop a strategy to replace fossil fuel generators with a mix of wind, solar and battery storage.
