SBMA introduces Retail Gold Investment Committee

This is in collaboration with the World Gold Council and will be chaired by Silver Bullion.

The Singapore Bullion Market Association (SBMA) has inaugurated the Retail Gold Investment Committee at the 7th Asia Pacific Precious Metals Conference 2024.

In collaboration with the World Gold Council (WGC) and chaired by Silver Bullion Pte Ltd, the committee marks a significant milestone coinciding with SBMA's 30th anniversary.

The commitee’s primary objective is to implement the Retail Gold Investment Principles, aimed at enhancing transparency and trust in gold investments.

“We are thrilled to announce this new standard for excellence and encourage and invite other companies to adhere to this common set of transparency and integrity standards, so that we can grow the retail gold market together,” said Gregor Gregersen, founder and CEO, Silver Bullion Pte Ltd.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
