Leader Environmental Technologies Limited lists on SGX

The company with $92.74mln market capitalisation wants to raise its profile in China's environmental protection industry.

Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced on Friday that Leader Environmental Technologies Limited (Leader Environmental Technologies) has commenced trading on the SGX Mainboard, under the ticker symbol "LeaderEnv". Leader Environmental Technologies is an environmental protection solutions provider primarily for industrial waste-gas and wastewater emissions in the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

Mr. Lim Poh Yeow, Chief Financial Officer at Leader Environmental Technologies Limited said, “We are honored to work with SGX on the successful listing of Leader Environmental Technologies Limited. Our management strongly believes that the listing platform in Singapore will open doors to many opportunities as well as raise the Group’s profile in the environmental protection industry in China. We believe that the future outlook for the Group is bright. With the PRC government’s continued emphasis on environmental protection and pollution control, it will lead to the growing demand for highly efficient industrial waste- gas treatment equipment and systems which we are well positioned to capitalise”.

Leader Environmental Technologies Limited, with an estimated market capitalisation of S$92.74 million brings the total number of clean technology companies listed on SGX to 28 with a combined market capitalisation of about S$5 billion.
