Daily Markets Briefing: STI declines by 1.25%; Yangzijiang Shipbuilding is top stock

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding was the most active stock with a 2.46% increase.

The Straits Times Index was down by 1.25%, closing at 3,173.84 on 17 May 2023, Wednesday.

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding was the top stock as it increased by 2.46%, followed by Singapore Airlines which was up by 1.52%, and Emperador with a 1% rise.

CapitaLand Investment was at the bottom as it fell by 3.68%, followed by Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust which was down by 3.47%, and SGX with a 2.43% decline.
