Daily Markets Briefing: STI up 0.19%; ThaiBev is top stock

Thai Beverage posted a 2.63% increase.

The Straits Times Index increased by 0.19%, closing at 3,159.88 at 5:26 p.m. on 22 August 2023, Tuesday.

Other top stocks were Yangzijiang Shipbuilding which rose by 1.81%, and Jardine Matheson which posted a 1.68% uptick.

At the bottom were DFI Retail Group which declined by 2.87%, Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust dipped by 1.32% and Sembcorp Industries which was down by 0.94%.
