Chris Chong ends tenure as CLI retail and workspace head for SG and Malaysia

Ervin Yeo will succeed Chong.

CapitaLand Investment (CLI) Chief Executive Officer of Retail and Workspace (Singapore and Malaysia), Chris Chong, has stepped down.

Chong's last day with CLI was 30 August. He spent five years with the company.

“It has been a pleasure working with the teams at CapitaLand: through the various challenges during COVID and the celebrations when we achieve the milestones and greater heights with CapitaLand Investment,” Chong wrote on his LinkedIn page.

"To the CapitaLand Retail and Workspace teams: a big Thank You for the teamwork and invaluable support given to me all this time. Together, we made the various projects and dreams possible,” he added.

CLI Group's Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Management for China and Southeast Asia, Ervin Yeo, will replace Chong.

In a reply to Chong’s LinkedIn post, Yeo wrote: “All the best on your next adventure Chris, we’ll keep building on the strong foundations you have laid.”
