CHART OF THE DAY: What do Singaporeans feel about NFTs, cryptocurrencies?

Over half of the respondents are not too enthusiastic about these.

Amidst the heightened digital shift during the new normal, Singaporeans are not too keen about cryptocurrency, with 57% and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), with 55%.

This was shown in a chart by decision science solutions & advisory firm, Blackbox. The chart also revealed that 39% of Singaporeans said they are not enthusiastic about the Metaverse but 50% of younger Singaporeans see it as worth exploring.

“Whilst Web 3.0 is in many ways an extension of the digital world, its offerings haven’t been met with collective enthusiasm yet,” said Blackbox.

There are other Singaporeans who find digital learning as a good change. For example, telemedicine services have the approval of 50% of Singaporeans who said they have enthusiasm for virtual medical consultations.
