Chart of the Day: How did Singapore’s IPO market perform in 1H23?

Data from EY showed that Singapore only had 3 IPOs year-to-date.

The number of IPOs in Singapore fell 50% YoY in 1H23, data from EY showed.

According to EY’s report, Singapore only had three IPOs year-to-date. In 1H22, the Lion City had six IPOs.

Given the fall in numbers, funds raised likewise dropped in 1H23, dropping 36% YoY.

Proceeds raised for all three IPOs were less than US$0.1b.
