4 Jardine stocks make it to STI's strongest in November: SGX

Jardine Cycle and Carriage saw the highest gain of 16.3%.

Four of the five strongest Straits Times Index (STI) constituents in November were Jardine Stocks including Jardine Strategic Holdings (JSH), Jardine Matheson Holdings (JMH), Jardine Cycle & Carriage and Hong Kong Land, the Singapore Exchange revealed.

Meanwhile, Dairy Farm, which is also held by JSH, is amongst the STI’s strongest constituent in 2018 YTD.

SGX noted that JMH, JSH, and the four companies held by JSH including Hong Kong Land, Dairy Farm, Mandarin Oriental, and Jardine Cycle and Carriage saw an average gain of 9.2% in November.

Amongst the six stocks, Jardine Cycle and Carriage saw the highest gain of 16.3% in November. This was followed by JSH (13.8%), JMH (13.3%), Hong Kong Land (8.9%), Mandarin Oriental (6.4%), and Dairy Farm (-3.5%).

“Five of the six stocks are secondary listings and traded in USD, with the primary listed Jardine Cycle & Carriage traded in SGD,” SGX noted.
