Morgan Stanley wins narrowing of claims against Singapore investors
Among the claims trashed were negligent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, and aiding and abetting.
A Bloomberg report said, “Morgan Stanley won a narrowing of claims in a lawsuit by Singapore investors who said the firm induced them to buy synthetic collateralized debt obligations that were designed to fail.”
Meanwhile other claims that will continue are fraud and breach of good covenant and good faith.
