AIMS AMP to issue 1.5m new units for $1.46 each

It has commenced trading this morning.

AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT announced that 1,522,993 new units in AA REIT will be allotted and issued at an issue price of S$1.4446 per new unit pursuant to a distribution reinvestment plan to eligible unitholders of AA REIT who have elected to participate in the AA REIT DRP in respect of the distribution of 2.55 cents per unit in AA REIT for the financial period from 1 April 2014 to 30 June 2014.

In a media release, AIMS AMP says that the DRP Units will be allotted and will commence trading on the Main Board of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited at 9.00 a.m. on 23 September 2014. 

The DRP Units will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Units in AA REIT.

Following the issue of the DRP Units, the number of issued Units in AA REIT will increase from 621,526,923 to 623,049,916. 

Eligible Unitholders who did not elect to participate in the AA REIT DRP will be paid the distribution for the 1Q FY2015 Distribution in cash on 23 September 2014.
