Asian bourses dragged down by US jobs data
Hong Kong and the Philippines were the biggest losers as at noon of 9 July 2012, down by around 1.5% each.
RBS reported (for 9 July 2012 trading - noon):
Regional bourses were down across the board as weaker than expected US jobs data weighed on market sentiment.
By noon, the MSCI Asia Pacific index was down by 1.6%.
Hong Kong and the Philippines were the biggest losers, down by around 1.5% each. Losses in other markets were close to 1%.
The only exception to the regional decline was Malaysia which traded flat.
