Sapphire Corporation names Teh Wing Kwan as executive director and group CEO

He is a sophisticated investor in and a Director of BMI Capital Partners Limited (Hong Kong) advising its investment strategies.

Sapphire Corporation announced the appointment of Teh Wing Kwan as executive director and group chief executive officer.

Mr Teh, 41, is responsible for reviewing and overseeing strategic plans development of the Group; and leading the strategy execution process, according to a Sapphire Corporation report.

Mr Teh is currently a non-executive and non-independent director of Xpress Group Limited (listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange), CCM Group Limited (listed on the Catalist of the SGX-ST) and Asian American Medical Group Limited (listed on the Australian Securities Exchange). Mr Teh is also a sophisticated investor in and a Director of BMI Capital Partners Limited (Hong Kong) advising its investment strategies; appointed advisor to the Board of Koda Ltd (listed on the Main Board of the SGX-ST), a company which he served as a group CFO from July 2000 to September 2013. He was appointed advisor to the Board of Asian Centre for Liver Diseases & Transplantation (currently known as Asian American Medical Group Limited) from July 2008 to January 2011; appointed Audit Committee chairman and independent director of Creative Master Bermuda (from August 2011 to February 2013) and China Titanium (from January 2011 to January 2012).
