New Toyo International Holdings appoints George Lee Chee Whye as Chief Executive Officer

Mr Lee will in charge of the Group's overall corporate strategies, administration and business operations.

The Board of New Toyo International Holdings announced the appointment of George Lee Chee Whye as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director.The Nominating Committee had reviewed the qualifications and working experience of Mr George Lee and recommended his appointment. The Board of Directors, having considered the NC’s recommendation, approved the appointment of Mr George Lee as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Mr Lee, 44, will be responsible for overall corporate strategies, administration and business operations of the Group.

Mr Lee is currently the Acting Chief Executive Officer and Head of the Group’s Specialty Papers Division. Prior to taking his current role, Mr George Lee was the General Manager of New Toyo Aluminium Paper Product Co (Pte) Ltd from 2005 to 2006. Before joining the Group, he was a General Manager of an SME in Singapore and has more than 10 years of senior management expertise.
