Metal Component Engineering names Lim Swee Kwang as director

He is currently a partner and investment committee member of a private equity fund managed by Accion Capital Management, a registered fund management company under the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Metal Component Engineering announced the appointment of Lim Swee Kwang as independent non-executive director.

Mr Lim, 52, will also be chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and Nominating Committee, according to a Metal Component Engineering report.

Since 2012, he is a partner and investment committee member of Accion Asia Growth Fund, a private equity fund managed by Accion Capital Management, a registered fund management company under the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Before this he was senior vice president and group general manager, Retail Store Solutions and Industrial Products Business of Venture Corporation, and CEO of the GES group of companies from 2007 to 2012, as well as vice president and general manager, Product Technology Business, Venture Corporation from 2006 to 2007.
