Lereno Bio-Chem appoints Ong Ai Koon as Chief Financial Officer

Ms Ong has been appointed from being Vice President of the Human Resource & Administration department of the company.

The Board of Lereno Bio-Chem announces the appointment of Ong Ai Koon as Chief Financial Officer. Ms Ong is currently the Vice President of the Human Resource & Administration department of the company. The Audit and Nominating Committees have reviewed her qualification and experience and with their recommendation, the Board is of the opinion that Ms. Ong is suitable for her role as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. The Audit Committee members had confirmed after making all reasonable enquiries and to the best of their knowledge and belief, nothing has come to their attention to cause them to believe that Ms. Ong does not have the competence, character and integrity expected of a Chief Financial Officer of a listed issuer.

Ms. Ong, 38, will be responsible for all accounting, financial, Human Resource & Administrative matters of the Group.

She was Vice-President-HR & Administration of Lereno Bio-Chem Ltd from 2003 to present. She was also Executive Director, Vice President-Accounting & Finance, Payroll & Procurement of Bintai Kindenko Pte Ltd. from 2000 to present. Prior to this she was part of Corporate Service - Corporate Restructuring of Moore Stephens from 1998 to 1999.
