JB Foods promotes Tan Chay Kee to CFO

He replaced Jeremy Soon Ann following the board's accout of his experience and ability to contribute to the company.

JB Foods announced the appointment of Tan Chay Kee as chief financial officer.

Mr Tan, 45, will be responsible for all financial and accounting related matters of the group and shall remain an executive officer of the company, according to a JB Foods report.

Mr Tan possesses almost 20 years of diversified work experiences in a variety of industries, with roles in engineering, compensation consulting, corporate finance, financial/risk management, business development and strategic planning. In the cocoa industry, Mr Tan was the group financial controller for Petra Foods Cocoa Ingredients Division from 2004 to 2009. He was the director of Corporate Development of the company from 24 March 2014 to the date of his re-designation as CFO of the company.
