HTL International Holdings promotes Phua Bo Wen to senior manager, retail excellence of Trends Furniture

He was appointed in line with his past experience with financial and business analysis, his familiarity with the Singapore furniture retail market.

HTL International Holdings announced the appointment of Phua Bo Wen as senior manager for retail excellence of Trends Furniture.

In line with the Group's increased focus on its retail business, the management is seeking to promote retail excellence at store locations in Singapore, and has proposed to the board that a new position of senior manager, retail excellence be created within Trends Furniture.

Mr Phua, 36, will be responsible for setting the roadmap for excellence in the execution of store operations, merchandising, customer management and retail training at Trends Furniture Pte. Ltd.. His key functions will include managing the creation and delivery of the operational plans and budget, as well as developing and delivering strategic projects to improve short and long term business performance. Phua Bo Wen will also be responsible for the profit and loss of the retail outlets, according to an HTL International Holdings report.

He has worked in the group as a project manager, business development since 2013, and has been involved in developing the group's operational strategy in the Singapore retail market. Prior to this, Phua Bo Wen worked in the finance industry where he gained experience in financial and business analysis.
