HTL International Holdings names two Non-Executive Directors

Soh Yew Hock and Lynda Wee Keng Neo was chosen to improve on the independence composition of the Board.

The Board of HTL International Holdings announced the appointment of Soh Yew Hock and Lynda Wee Keng Neo as Non-Executive Independent Directors.

The extensive experience of Mr. Soh Yew Hock, 68, in commerce and industry together with his accounting qualifications would support the current skill sets of the existing Board members, and that he would be able to contribute positively on the Board.

He was Executive Director of WBL Corporation Ltd from 1994 until retirement in July 2007 and Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Wearnes International (1994) Ltd from 1996 to August 2006.

Meanwhile, the expertise in retailing, leadership development and strategic planning of Dr. Wee, 49, would be a good complement to the current skill sets of the existing Board, and that she would be able to contribute positively on the Board, according to an HTL International Holdings report.

Dr. Wee has been Chief Executive Officer of Bootstrap, Associate Professor (Adjunct) of Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Senior Vice President (Learning & Development) of CapitaLand Ltd and Principal of CapitaLand Institute of Management and Business.
