Dukang Distillers Holdings names Zhou Tao as executive chairman and CEO

He has over 13 years of sales and marketing experience in food and beverage companies.

The Board of Dukang Distillers announced the appointment of Zhou Tao as executive chairman and chief executive officer.

Mr Zhou, 42, will assume the role of executive chairman in overseeing the overall management, strategic planning and business development of the Group in addition to his role as CEO.

Mr Zhou has over 13 years of sales and marketing experience in food and beverage companies, which included a stint as the Henan branch manager in Anhui Kouzijiao Spirit Group, a well-known baijiu producer and seller in the PRC. In June 2005, Mr Zhou joined the Group’s subsidiary, Siwu Spirits, as a director and deputy managing director and was responsible for its sales and marketing operations. In May 2007, Mr Zhou also became the director of the Group’s subsidiary, Siwu Marketing, according to a Dukang Distillers Holdings report.

Mr Zhou graduated from Zhengzhou University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance in July 1992. In December 1998, Mr Zhou graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Science with a Certificate in Economics.
