China Hongxing Sports appoints Lan Zhongming as CEO

He replaced Wu Rongzhao who resigned executive director and CEO pursuant to the Company's trading resumption proposal.

China Hongxing Sports announced the appointment of Lan Zhongming as chief executive officer.

Mr Lan, 41, will be responsible for the overall business strategy, operations and day-to-day management of the affairs of the Group. He will also be responsible for the group's overall management and operations of the finance, production and administration departments; according to a China Hongxing Sports report.

From 1999 to 2011, Mr Lan was with IBM Greater China Group, primarily in the Global Business Services unit based in Guangzhou Province. Mr Lan had vast experience in the systems, applications and products in data processing service line and the consumer products/retail industry.

Mr Lan joined the Group in October 2011 as a vice-president and was involved in the Human Resource Division, the Logistics Division and the Product Supply (Apparel) Division. Mr Lan also assisted with the development of the strategic direction of the Groups distribution network, re-alignment of the strategic direction of the Groups business divisions and improvements to the Groups recruitment, retention and training resources.
