Avi-Tech Electronics appoints Lee Soon Kiat as Corporate Business Development Director

He has over 20 years of working experience in both the government and private sector.

The Board of Avi-Tech Electronics announced the appointment of Lee Soon Kiat as Corporate Business Development Director. Based on the experience and past experience of Mr. Lee Soon Kiat, the Board believes that he is able to perform his duties and responsibilities that are in line with his role within the Group.

Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Lee, 46, has over 20 years of working experience in both the government and private sector. In the government sector, he has served as a Divisional Director (Machinery) of International Enterprise, Singapore and Assistant Head (Electronics) in the Economic Development Board. His responsibilities included promotion of foreign direct investment into Singapore, creating and facilitating business collaboration and development between local and foreign companies as well as facilitating the creation of semiconductor supporting industries and water fabrication park infrastructure in Singapore. In the private sector, he has served as Vice President for Corporate Strategic Development in a local manufacturing company and has also prior working experience in manufacturing, research and development in a US MNC in healthcare products and Japanese MNC in optical imaging fibers, according to an Avi-Tech Electronics report.
