Asia Fashion Holdings appoints two non-executive directors

The Board believes that Neo Chee Beng's and Ong Kian Guan's experience will enhance its core competencies

The Board of Asia Fashion Holdingsannounced the appointment of Neo Chee Beng's and Ong Kian Guan as non-executive independent directors.

Mr Neo, 52, will be the lead independent director, chairman of the Nominating Committee and Remuneration Committee and member of the Audit Committee.

He is currently CFO of Beijing Ruyi Media Group since April 2012. Before this, he was director of operations of Persistent Asset Management from June 2007 to March 2012 and independent business consultant from March 2005 to May 2007, according to an Asia Fashion Holdings report.

On the other hand, Mr Ong, 45, will be chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the Nominating Committee and Remuneration Committee.

He is currently audit partner of Baker Tilly TFW since October 2005. Prior to this, he was audit partner of Moores Rowland Singapore and Mazars Singapore from December 2004 to September 2005 and CFO of Medtecs International Corporation from September 2002 to November 2004.
