ITT launches latest water solutions at PSAsia 2010

ITT announced the presence of its Fluid Technology Business at PSAsia 2010, the 10th International Exhibition on Fluid, Air and Gas Handling Systems in Asia, held in Singapore Marina Bay Sands.

ITT breakthrough technologies and deep applications expertise can be found around the world transporting liquid in hundreds of different operations, whether it is drinking water to the 50th floor of a skyscraper or drainage water up a 500 foot mineshaft. ITT products also move wastewater across cities, chemicals across industrial plants and water coolant around power plants.

“Asia is home to roughly 60 percent of the world’s population but it has less than 40 percent of the planet’s usable water supply,” said Mr. Eddie Tan, General Manager, ITT Asia. “Asia faces unprecedented water management challenges as we attempt to integrate a burgeoning industrial base with daily human activity, much of it still tied to urbanization, infrastructure development and environmental sustainability. At PSAsia 2010, ITT showcase technologies and solutions that play a central role in helping to preserve world’s most precious resource and to increase access to safe water supplies in Asia.”Tan continues "and in an industry that accounts for 20 percent of the world's energy usage, it's important to know that the pumps you use are among the most energy efficient. We will be launching a new generation of the vertical pumps for the residential and commercial water markets. Through our research, two percent boost in base efficiency translates into a very significant 10 percent reduction in lifecycle costs for the customers."

ITT broad range of clean water solutions to the communities in the Residential and Commercial Building, Irrigation, Municipal Services and the Light Industry will be displayed at the booth from September 1 – 3. The booth will exhibit many of ITT Fluid Technology brands including the premier names in the marketplace: Lowara, Bell & Gossett, Goulds Pumps and Flowtronex.

ITT will be presenting at the exhibition seminar on Efficient Design of Irrigation Booster Package System and Energy Efficient Water Solutions.
