Singtel adds TIDAL to its services repertoire

The service is available on Singtel Music for $15.90 per month.

Singtel Music went global with its newest offering, a subscription to music app TIDAL. According to Singtel vice president of mobile marketing Diana Chen, customers will be able to subscribe to TIDAL Premium and TIDAL HIFI on Singtel Music without touching their data allowance.

"With the addition of Saavn in October and TIDAL now, Singtel Music customers have even more choices for their listening pleasure. We’re not stopping here and will continue adding quality music content to offer the best music streaming experience at great prices, without the data charges,” Chen said.

TIDAL Premium allows subscribers to access a catalogue of more than 42 million songs, including exclusive albums such as Beyoncé’s LEMONADE and Rihanna’s ANTI, as well as live streams from Bon Jovi, Keith Urban and Alicia Keys.

"This means, they can stream or download hours upon hours of music entertainment, anytime and anywhere, with zero local data charges. TIDAL Premium customers will have access to 320kbps listening while TIDAL HIFI customers will enjoy lossless audio with a bit rate of 1411kbps," she added.

Tidal Premium and Tidal HIFI are available on Singtel Music for $15.90 a month for a 12-month contract. It is also available for non-contract subscribers for $19.90.
