Singapore Discovery Centre resumes operations
With the post Circuit Breaker reopening comes two new attractions.
The largest two-storey escape room and a cutting-edge laser tag arena are just one of the new upgrades visitors will find after six months of renovation finally ended as Singapore Discovery Centre announced the opening of its doors on 31 October.
Aside from new attractions, 2,325 solar panels on the lake, roof and sheltered walkway that is enough to power half of the centre’s electrical consumption.
Visitors are encouraged to book their tickets online and to observe the COVID-19 Safe Management Measures in place,
The opening comes in the heels of Singapore’s move toward Phase 3, where the Multi-Ministry Task Force are piloting the use of pre-event testing for larger-scale and high-risk activities such as wedding receptions, live performances and sports events from mid-October until the end of the year.
In Phase 3, a larger group size for gatherings outside of the home as well as increasing the capacity in public venues such as tourist attractions will be permitted.
