Singapore Airlines, CapitaLand start new rewards partnership

The partnership will link the KrisFlyer and CapitaStar programmes.

Commercial real estate giant CapitaLand and flag carrier Singapore Airlines (SIA) have announced the linkage of their respective rewards programmes.

Through this partnership, the miles earned through SIA's KrisFlyer loyalty programme can be redeemed for lifestyle and travel rewards available in Capitaland's CapitaStar programme.

Members can also avail of exclusive CapitaStar rewards through the Kris+ mobile app.

"This partnership with CapitaLand, Singapore's largest retail operator, is a part of our continuous journey to add new partners to our membership ecosystem," said JoAnn Tan, SIA senior vice president for marketing planning.

In turn, CapitaLand Singapore Head of Coalition Reuben Yong said: "We are confident that our collaboration with Singapore Airlines and KrisFlyer will create a more diverse, flexible and holistic experience for more than 1.1 million CapitaStar members."

The conversion programme would also allow KrisFlyer and CapitaStar members to convert between miles and STAR$ through the companies' respective websites and mobile apps.

Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
