Popsical nabs $6.9m in series A funding
This fund will be used for digital and geographic market expansion.
The cloud-based karaoke startup Popsical has secured a total of $6.9m in a series A funding round led by Quest Ventures, a press release confirmed. Other investors are Seeds Capital, Apricot Capital, Teo Heng KTV, Cash Studios KTV, OMG Ventures, and Mediacorp.
Popsical will use the fresh investments for digital and geographic market expansion, hiring go-to-market talent and developing their roadmap of modernised products and SAAS services. In conjunction with the funding, Jeffrey Seah, partner at Quest Ventures, will also join Popsical’s board of directors.
The investment from Quest Ventures will be used to enter into Kazakhstan and Central Asia markets, the press release added.
