Genting Singapore Q3 net profit crashed by 66%

The revenue loss was still reported despite job cuts in July.

Net profit for the third quarter ended 30 September for Genting Singapore Limited still dropped by 66% despite investment business along with other hospitality and support services returning profitable results for the quarter.

Resorts World Sentosa dragged Genting Singapore’s profit, with a 41% loss on their gaming segment and 74% losses on its non-gaming segment.

The group said it continued to grapple with the ongoing pandemic and “continues
to experience weak demand.”
