1 in 3 S’poreans would like to live and retire in Johor Bahru

Nine in 10 Singaporeans support the relaxation of border measures to allow more free travel across Singapore and Malaysia and vice versa, according to the SensingSG report.

31% or one in three Singaporeans travel to Johor Bahru at least once a month with 21% stating they have some form of investment there.

In addition, seven in 10 Singaporeans stated that they would travel to Johor Bahru monthly for lifestyle and entertainment, shopping and dining if more convenient travel measures such as RTS Link and passport-free travel were implemented.

Meanwhile, one in three say that they would buy a home and retire in Johor Bahru.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
