Marina Bay Sands reopens more attractions from 1 July

Select guests may visit the ArtScience Museum and the Sands SkyPark Observation Deck.

As an extension of its safe restart of operations, Marina Bay Sands is reopening three of its attractions for selected guests from 1 July, a press release confirmed. Guests can visit the ArtScience Museum, Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, and the Casino with safe-distancing protocol. Along with these three, Marina Bay Sands is also reopening two of their restaurants—KOMA and db Bistro & Oyster Bar—from 1 and 3 July, respectively.

Initially, the ArtScience Museum and Sands SkyPark Observation Deck will be reopened to their rewards members who must purchase online tickets in advance due to reduced venue capacity. Entry for the casino is also restricted to club members and annual levy holders until further notice.

The press release claimed that safety is ensured by limiting the number of patrons at each gaming table and deploying 800 safe-distancing ambassadors. The gaming floor has also been equipped with 800 hand sanitising stations and 250 safe management officers.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
