DetecThink gives Dora the Explorer a run for her money

Math practice is enmeshed in an engaging detective story.

There are lots of digital entertainment games for children but most lack educational content. Interactions with fellow moms reveal the common concern that children spend too much time on entertaining digital games which take time out from learning. Moms often complain about their children getting bored with traditional math workbooks and would instead prefer playing gaming apps.

Advocating the philosophy of “Learn + Play”, DetecThink was designed by Intellipath Games to captivate children through an engaging detective mystery while integrating math practice seamlessly into the story.

Intellipath Games announces the launch of DetecThink, an educational gaming app created to help children learn math through a series of fun, interactive detective games.
DetecThink is an interactive mobile game designed to stimulate children’s creative problem solving and analytic skills. DetecThink players become fully immersed in a detective case work by solving a series of interactive clues that include freeing a princess, unlocking a secret suitcase, to solve the mystery of a missing crown.

The only way to advance through the game is by completing addition and subtraction problems which progress in difficulty from one level to another. It is an effective complement to fundamental concepts learnt in school, driving proficiency of Math skills.

DetecThink is the only math digital edu-tainment platform which uniquely combines three important elements of active learning, gaming psychology and immersive storytelling. This is the magic of DETECTHINK.

DetecThink is free to download from iTunes, App Store and children can play the first 4 chapters of the story for free! The mobile game app is suitable for primary school children from 6-10 years old. Parents can customize the level according to their child's ability. The game comes in 5 level settings from numbers 0 to 10; all the way to numbers 999.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

You're the reader we write for. You're also the person our partners want to reach.

If that sentence describes you — a founder, a C-suite, someone whose attention companies pay good money for — then you already understand why SBR works. We've spent twenty years earning the trust of readers exactly like you. Which is exactly what makes this an interesting place for your company to show up, too.

The ways it can show up are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The right fit depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If your company has something this audience should know about, we'd like to hear what you're working on.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.

30 One-Sentence Stories From People Who Have Built Better Habits
None of these stories are mine. They were sent to me by readers of Atomic Habits. My hope is that these examples will illustrate how real people are putting the book into practice. They will show you what people are actually doing to build good habits and break bad ones. And hopefully, they will spark some ideas for how you can do the same.
